The client was eager to create a space that merges the best of both worlds: a vibrant, creative co-working environment paired with the enjoyment of board games. With the growing trend of remote work, the city lacked spaces that catered to this need, especially one that combined work and play in a dynamic way. Recognizing that many teenagers from Amravati travel to metro cities for education, the client envisioned a place that feels familiar yet fresh, offering a slice of metropolitan life right here. The goal was to create a cowork space design that feels like “home” for those returning to their hometowns, where they can work, relax, and reconnect with friends, all while experiencing the energy of city life.

To achieve this, the space was designed with bold, contemporary colors, inspired by the modern aesthetic of metro cities. The interior blends sleek, functional cowork spaces with playful elements, such as board game corners and cozy lounges. The vibrant palette encourages creativity and collaboration, offering a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere.
The space is more than just a co-working hub; it’s a cultural gathering point for the youth of Amravati, offering an escape from the conventional. It speaks to the younger generation’s need for both productivity and relaxation, a place where they can unwind, socialize, and work in style.
Entrance & Reception
The entrance to the space is designed to be an experience in itself. As visitors step through the door, they are greeted by a vibrant blue color that sets the tone for the energetic vibe of the entire space. The bold blue, combined with reused pipes as a focal point. Further, creating a striking visual that immediately grabs attention.
These pipes help to form a narrow passage, giving the feeling of transitioning from the outside world into a completely different, exciting environment.
This carefully crafted narrow entrance is designed to disconnect visitors from the outside noise and prepare them for the creative atmosphere within.
Reading Room
The space also includes a dedicated area designed for calm and peaceful reading. This serene environment encourages focus and relaxation, providing an escape from the hustle of everyday life.
We’ve curated a selection of novels that add to the soothing ambiance, offering visitors an opportunity to unwind and dive into a good book.
Informal Seating Area
The informal seating arrangement, with cozy lounge chairs and soft cushions, invites people to relax and read at their own pace, whether it’s for a quick break or an extended reading session.
In addition, this area doubles as an ideal co-working space for professionals working from home. It provides a quiet, comfortable environment equipped with the essentials needed for productivity. Such as spacious desks, ergonomic chairs, and ample lighting.
The informal sitting offers a more relaxed, flexible atmosphere compared to traditional office spaces, allowing remote workers to focus on their tasks while feeling part of a vibrant, yet calm, community.
Board Game Area
The board games area is thoughtfully divided into three distinct zones, each with its own color scheme and unique vibe, creating a dynamic and immersive environment for all types of players.
Blue Zone
The blue zone offers an immersive and slightly darker atmosphere, with in-built seating designed for comfort and focus.
The seating is paired with stylish ring lights that enhance the mood, making it perfect for those who want to enjoy a game in a more intimate, cozy setting.
The darker feel of this area creates a sense of calm and concentration, ideal for focused play or quieter moments within the space.
Orange Zone
The orange zone brings a more vibrant and informal feel to the mix. Moreover, with relaxed seating arrangements and carefully designed tables specifically for board games.
The warm orange hues create an energetic, welcoming vibe, encouraging social interaction and friendly competition.
Whether playing a classic game or trying something new, this space is perfect for groups of friends or co-workers looking to unwind and have fun together.
Green Zone
The green zone is an aesthetically appealing area, featuring terrazzo tiles and wall beadings that make it incredibly photogenic.
This area blends a modern design with a touch of nature-inspired tranquility. Hence, it is ideal for those looking to snap a few photos while enjoying their game.
The playful yet sophisticated design invites visitors to not only play but also take in the beautiful surroundings.
Flexible Layout for Versatility
What makes this board games area even more unique is its flexibility. The entire space can be seamlessly transformed into a single, large open area. This transformation allows for the screening of documentaries or other community events. Further, creating a space that can easily transition from leisure to entertainment. Whether it’s a group gaming session or a larger screening event, this adaptable design ensures the space is always ready to host various activities.
